Modbus, being an open protocol, is the most commonly available means of connecting industrial electronic devices on the plant floor to a main controller or data gathering system. ModScan software tool, which acts as ModBus Master, has been a very useful tool for testing and debugging the data connectivity between ModBus compatible devices, ModFlex provides additional features by which it becomes handy tool for testing and debugging the data connectivity of the data from OT world to the IT System.

ModFlex Plus
ModFlex Plus can poll and read data from MODBUS devices from the OT World and provide unlimited data storage on the cloud server. It was designed to operate in the 24×7 mode. Both loggers can export data to databases or log to a file, and many other formats to ingest, analyze, Visualize and Alert of the Logged data. It has option of having logged data being exported OPC Server.
- Modbus Data Logger to Local & Cloud
- Modbus OPC Server
MQTT Data Logger
Most MQTT brokers don’t provide any mechanism for logging data that can be used as historical data for later analysis. However, due to the publish/subscribe nature of MQTT, it is easy to monitor, and log a data stream or streams using an MQTT client. MQTT Data Logger software application can be installed on any standard desktop PC. It creates a log file for all messages for all topics to which the MQTT client has subscribed. One can subscribe to multiple topics. One needs to specify the broker name or IP address and the topics to log. The Data Logger is ready to log the data.
SNMP OPC Server
The SNMP OPC Server provides complete monitoring and control of SNMP-enabled devices from any OPC compliant application such as IT Management Systems and Operator Panels, HMIs etc from the OT World.
The SNMP OPC Server helps to bridge together the OT World i.e. plant-floor operation with the IT operation so both have the information they need to monitor the devices/equipment and diagnose problems.
PROFINET OPC Server
PROFINET is an industry technical standard for data communication over Industrial Ethernet, designed for collecting data from, and controlling equipment in industrial systems, with a particular strength in delivering data under tight time constraints.
The PROFINET OPC Server supports all Profinet compatible devices on the OT world. It provides high performance, high-speed data exchange and fast response.
EtherNET IP OPC Server
EtherNet/IP (IP = Industrial Protocol) is an industrial network protocol that adapts the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) to standard Ethernet. It allows you to connect field sensors, controllers, and control systems in the same network.
The EtherNet/IP OPC Server supports all EtherNet/IP compatible devices on the OT world. It provides high performance, high-speed data exchange and fast response.
